Remember the Publix store in Gulf Shores will have an extra special ad in addition to these deals listed. From everything that I have heard the couponing policy should be similar to the policy in Fairhope.
Keep in mind that the sneak peek prices will be slightly different from our local prices (by a couple of cents). Check the paper ad or publix.com to get exact local pricing.
Reminders about our local store policies:
The key to the game is buying the sale items. The BEST deals are the B1G1s. My list is mostly B1G1, essential items and sale items. I buy fruits/veggies/meats that are on sale that week. These sale items are already GREAT deals–Add coupons and they are AWESOME buys!
Locals(the following applies to Fairhope and Orange Beach locations):
*Our local Publix ads usually run Wednesday-Tuesday. Holiday ads vary.
*Sneak Peeks are always subject to change.
*Our local prices will usually vary by a couple of cents from Sneak Peek ads.
*NO Food Lion, Harvey’s, department store, etc… coupons accepted at our local stores.
*Manufacturer coupons & store coupons (local grocery/drugstores/Target/Publix) accepted at the Publix in Fairhope and Orange Beach.
*One $/$$ coupon per visit per day at Fairhope location as long as your order total qualifies before coupons. Orange Beach is accepting one Publix $/$$ and one competitor $/$$ per person per day. You can find a list of $/$$ here. Always hand these to the cashier first.
*No doubling of coupons or penny items at the Fairhope/Orange Beach stores.
*You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1s to get the sale price. They ring up 1/2 price and 1/2 price at our local stores.
*ONE Manufacturer + ONE store coupon = ONE item.
*No Price Matching at Publix. No Price matching coupons.Read more here.
*NO CVS Extra Care Bucks…ONLY Walgreen’s Register Rewards. You can use Walgreen’s Register Rewards like cash to pay. Always hand these to the cashier last. Fairhope will accept unlimited non expired Register Rewards. Orange Beach is one per retailer.
*Orange Beach shoppers please hand over your coupons to the cashier first as she/he may need to match up.
*Publix stores are NOT required to give overage. Buying trial sizes to obtain major overage is resulting in a review of policies. Stores are aware of which items give overage and reserve the right to refuse allowing excess.
* Publix no longer allows copies of Green and Yellow Advantage flyer coupons. They must be originals.

I talked to them in Orange Beach Publix the other day and was told that Gulf Shores will follow Orange Beach coupon policy!! Their manager was the asst. manager in Orange Beach store. I got this information from one of the management staff at customer service. You should be able to use one competitor $/$$ plus one Publix $/$$ on your transactions, just like in OB. Very excited and can’t wait for them to open up!!!
