WOW! I have not shopped like this in awhile! Boy, it was fun I must admit. The Grand Opening in Gulf Shores was everything it was talked up to be. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting other buggies while I shopped today. I truly have the BEST readers. My buggy did overflow on this trip. Several folks that were not use to seeing someone shopping the way we do gave me odd looks…One even said–You must love to clean. Ha. Little did she know that I was getting most of it next to nothing and it will last me months. I enjoyed meeting several of the manufacturer sales reps and made sure to thank the ones that came armed with coupons.
I do love Publix–but not just the grocery store–the people. From the wonderful customer service staff to the vice president, they are some of the most friendly people. Today, I told the store manager that before long he would start the think that The Buggy worked at Publix. After the fourth time in and out the door, I think he saw what I was talking about. I do not work for Publix(I would). I am just a regular couponer who happens to love the store overall and the saving.
On to the savings! On this trip I used no Register Rewards and one $10/50 Winn Dixie coupon and one $5/$40 Publix coupon from home mailer(Gulf Shores will allow you to use one Publix $/$$ plus one $/$$ competitor). The Register Reward policy for Gulf Shores is one per retailer.

Girl….you r AWESOME! I am with Chasity….I can not get my bill that low!! But like you said one time earlier, eating healthier is not always on sale!! But I am doing what I can on cleaners, Paper products, soaps, toothpaste, Etc. I am still saving a lot, thanks to you AND Aubrey!! Ya’ll r awesome!

Yes, it prints randomly from a Catalina machine at Winn Dixie. My sister always gets lucky and gets them!
I was looking for the island clipper and the “value in the family” coupon booklet today at GS and didn’t find either. Is that an old booklet? To Jessica, I usually go to Gulf Shores, someone that goes to Fairhope might be closer for you, but you are welcome to go with me
Check the GS Visitor Center–They should have the Island Clipper. It will take a little while for GS to start getting the booklets.

Did you happen to find out if the Gulf Shores store will accept Dollar General coupons?
They will be following OB policies for now–which means no Dollar General or Family Dollar.
How do you get so many coupons to print? The most some of them will give me is 2, and sometimes only 1. Are you using 2 or 3 computers or is there another way around it? Thanks
This past week I used my computer and had my sister print from her computer too. Most of the items I bought(Cascadian Farms and YoPlus) had two links each which meant four coupons per computer.
Hey, does your sister see any pattern at all in getting the Winn Dixie coupons. I have racked my brain trying to figure out if certain days are better than others or certain registers or checking out with certain amounts of items????
She gets them all the time at the Foley Winn Dixie. Some store locations do give them more than others.
