GROCERY STORE COUPON POLICIES (Mobile, AL 10/13/09)
WINN DIXIE Midtown
Does not double coupons.
Does accept internet coupons.
You can use two manufacturer coupons on B1G1 items.
Must buy 2 of the B1G1 deals to get the sale price.
FOOD WORLD Dauphin Street
Does double coupons .50 or less. Unless the coupon says NO DOUBLING.
Special 3 days sales they will advertised triple coupons, .50 or less.
Does accept internet coupons(color/black & white).
No FREE coupons off of the internet.
BRUNO’S Springhill
Does accept internet coupons (with manager’s approval).
One coupon per item (no stacking).
Do double coupons .50 or less.
Coupons for more than fifty cents will be redeemed for the face value.
The total redemption value must not exceed the price of the item. (no overage)
Expired coupons will not be honored.
Tabacco, cigarette, alcoholic beverage or free items cannot be doubled.
If multiples of the same item are purchased, up to ten coupons will be doubled. After the 10th coupon, the remaining coupons will be redeemed at face value.
PUBLIX
1. COMPETITOR COUPONS: Publix in Fairhope and Orange Beach accept competitor coupons(Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Bruno’s, Winn Dixie).
2. STACKING: You can use ONE PUBLIX/or competitor coupon and ONE manufacturer coupon per ONE item. So, a max of TWO coupons per item. This is called stacking.
3. DOUBLES: Orange Beach and Fairhope Publix locations do NOT double manufacturer coupons. Some Publix stores do double coupons that are .50¢ or less.
4. DRUGSTORE COMPETITOR COUPONS: Fairhope and Orange Beach locations will accept drugstore coupons as competitors(CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid).
Now this may be helpful if you happen to receive a $5/30 or even a $10/50 at CVS. These CVS coupons are found on the bottom of your receipt, CVS emails, or price scanners where you can scan your CVS card for additional coupons. THEY DO NOT TAKE CVS ECBs. ONLY $/$$ off purchase amount coupons.
Walgreens Rebate Rewards, which are manufacturer coupons printed at the register are also accepted. You can use these to pay.
Fairhope is not accepting Rite Aid Video Value coupons.
5. USING $/$$ OFF COUPONS: (Spend $30, Get $5 off).
Rolling list of $/$$ off coupons HERE! ONLY ONE $/$$ coupon at the Fairhope location. Yes, you could use a $5/$25 coupon from CVS as long as your order total was $25 before any other coupons. The best are the Winn Dixie coupons–$10/$50. Orange Beach allows 2 $/$$–one Publix and one competitor per person.

I just got a bunch of coupons in the mail from babies r us- they send them all the time b/c i registered there when i was expecting.
I noticed that the coupon barcodes begin with 5, but they don’t say manufacturer coupon anywhere on them. will publix accept these as manufacturer coupons ( i was told that they won’t take toys r us coupons as competitors Q’s)?
If they will take them, that would be awesome!!!! there’s a $5 off any Tide coupon and a $7 off Huggies diapers/wipes.

I recommend asking customer service. Do they say Babies R Us on them? Is there a mailing address in the fine print?
It does say Babies R Us and toys r Us on the coupon- I don’t have it here with me now, but I will check on the mailing address.
I think I will take them with me this week to Publix and just ask them about it at customer service.

I double-checked when I got home last night and no, there isn’t an address on the coupon. But i read the fine print and it does say BY MFT (it was the abbrev. for manufacturer)
I have used the Toys R Us coupons @ Publix several times and have not had a problem…
